Girls, starting tomorrow, I will be hospitalized. During the appointment, I was told that my protein levels in the urine are elevated, and leukocytes are present... and I have developed swelling again. I am quite confused. Recently, I was hospitalized for a day due to swelling, and I underwent numerous tests, including kidney ultrasounds. Everything was fine. How is it possible that just two weeks after being discharged, everything has worsened? I am currently 38 weeks pregnant, and I've known my body during pregnancy — swelling has always been an issue towards the end, especially in hot weather. But the swelling usually subsides when I rest. I just didn't want to go to the hospital because I’m worried my husband won’t manage with our youngest son. He doesn’t know or understand much, as he’s been working all the time, and I had to take time off. Staying in the hospital and resting after childbirth... it’s a long process 😊. Usually, I was prescribed a repeat test, and I would call to find out the results 🤷‍♀️, but this time, it’s a different doctor with different rules.
