Tomorrow I have to travel 120 km for a funeral. Bringing my younger child with me isn't an option, so she will stay with my mother-in-law, whom she hardly knows and with whom she's never been left before. I'm very worried about how it will go. I packed her toys and food in containers, but my mother-in-law doesn't really know what to do with her, what she likes, or how to keep her distracted. It's hard when there's no one you can rely on.
