Sanox. Or phosphoric acid, I dilute a capful in a plastic cup. Just try it on a small area first. We have gold-colored faucets, and it cleans them perfectly.

I love Frosch with tartaric acid, but it's gotten really expensive and I use quite a bit of it.

Look for a product with formic acid in it. After washing, cover with any water-repellent product, like an anti-rain treatment.
