I drove an automatic for 30 years, then my husband wanted me to drive his manual car sometimes.
On long distances, when you drive for hours on the highway at 130 km/h, I agree, but in the city where there's a traffic light or a pedestrian crossing every 500 meters, or you have to yield – I hate it and refuse. Maybe it's his car that's uncomfortable, tell me what car you have!

It's not complicated at all, an automatic transmission is just way more comfortable and I don't see the point of a manual for myself.

I find manual transmission easier than automatic.

I honestly don't care. Manual or automatic, it's all the same. It just so happened that my car is automatic. Otherwise, it's not a big deal to me. I drove my husband's manual for a year – I really don't care. After a year, it's all automatic: clutch, gear/neutral.
That feeling when you were actually taught in school, not just thrown into it...

Driving is fine now.
