I had my wisdom tooth removed a week ago, and yesterday I had the stitches removed. As a result, there is numbness in half of my lower lip and chin, swelling of the gums, and the front lower teeth feel as if they are being squeezed; visually, you can't tell. I saw a doctor yesterday — on examination, everything was fine, cheeks were normal, the swelling had subsided, but I still have a burning sensation in my mouth that won't go away. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it last?
