Has anyone else experienced this? And how did your child's speech turn out?

What's considered a small vocabulary? If they have at least five words, is that normal? And 'mama', 'dada' are words too. I've never counted words after age one.

Up until 2.4, he only spoke and grunted some syllables. In the end, his speech is great!

My middle daughter only had about 15 active words at two years old. At 2.2, she started speaking in sentences. Now she speaks in full sentences, and while there are some issues with certain sounds, she's still within the normal range for now.
