Oh, I have a friend like that. Well, *had* him. His first wife really suffered because she wanted a cat or a dog so badly, but the man was uncompromising. He was squeamish, pedantic, and so on.
Then he met his second wife, and with her, two dogs, two cats, two cockatoos, and some lizard like an iguana came into his life and home, along with her three kids)))) Love for a woman worked wonders 🤣

My mom was like that, she was totally against pets – the fur, the smell, ruined furniture. 6 years ago, she took our cat, and now she lives with her and spoils her rotten! 😁

I think it's cruel to the animal. Every animal needs a full life with enough time outdoors, not just an apartment.

I think animals and small children just don't mix. Plus, there's the smell, and they need attention, vet visits, and someone to watch them when you go on vacation. And the fur everywhere in the house and on your clothes.

I'm against having pets in my apartment. I don't want another thing to worry about or fuss over.
