For an adult. What are you using to treat it? Any advice on what really helps?

My doctor prescribed Rinofludim for me. It's a hormonal spray, but you have to be careful when spraying it, directing it away from the septum.

Rhinostein + Sinupret for 5-7 days and no trace of a runny nose)

A nebulizer inhaler really helps. I remember mine cleared up in about 3 days. It has a nasal attachment too.
