My son is teething with his back molars. For almost two weeks, he's refused regular food. He'll barely eat anything but cottage cheese. His gums are so swollen, and he cries when I touch them. He's only drinking formula. I've tried pureed soup, soft foods – everything, and he refuses. He slept terribly all week, co-sleeping with us. He also napped very little during the day and wasn't active. Now, it's the opposite – he sleeps all night, feeding once. He wakes up and then sleeps again for 1.5 hours after 3 hours. His schedule is all over the place. He only goes to his short-term daycare for 2 hours. Has anyone else's child refused to eat like this? Did it affect their health?
