How did you prepare it?

Broth is the base, though not always chicken broth, of course.

To start, you need to make a broth. I put chicken in a pot, add salt and a bay leaf. While the broth is cooking, you can prepare the other ingredients:

— peel the potatoes,
— carrots,
— onions.

Then I dice the potatoes and add them to the finished broth. When the chicken is ready, take it out of the broth and shred it.

I finely chop the onion and shred the carrots, then sauté them in a pan. When the potatoes have cooked a bit, I add the sautéed vegetables to the broth, bring it to a boil again, add egg noodles (you can also use rice or any other grain) and the meat. Finally, I add herbs, wait a couple more minutes, and the dish is ready!
